Teaching Experience
Ms. Barksdale student taught Civics, A.P. U.S. History, and Honors Economics at New Albany High School. Ms. Barksdale has taught Special Education in Kentucky and at South Central Elementary/South Central Jr./Sr. High School.

Other Experience
Ms. Barksdale has 10+ years experience in business, including management and marketing. Ms. Barksdale has been a successful consultant with Mary Kay since 2004.

Community Involvement
Ms. Barksdale works with her daughter's Girl Scout troop. She is also the Kentucky Coordinator for the Ohio, Kentucky, & Indiana Chapter of Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
